I just heard the awful news about the actress Natasha Richardson and I began reflecting a bit. As you know, I love posting happy images of babies, children, and families here on my blog because it makes me feel happy to share my passion with others. But, sometimes we need to remember that life isn’t perfect and, in fact, can be quite messy. As my mother often likes to say, it is made up of happy moments. The rest of it can be at times overwhelmingly difficult and sad. This truly is a sad moment and it seems rather inappropriate to be happy when a bright star has been dimmed.
Ms. Richardson could have been any one of us. She was a wife, mother, daughter, and phenomenal actress. Her passing today is a reminder for us to treasure each day with the ones we love, the ones who make a difference in our life.
It’s all that matters in the end.
