Paying It Forward
Operation: Love Reunited is an organization of volunteer photographers who donate their time and services to families whose spouses are about to be deployed, are already deployed, or have returned from deployment. I’m very proud to participate in this program and wanted to share an image from a recent session.

My little friend here was trying to help her toy turtle catch a good wave, but it was tricky as you can imagine, especially since she was trying to outrun the water and not get wet.

Me: Drew want to get dressed up and take some pictures with Momma? Drew: Sure! I’ll be right back. Me: All you did was put on a hat! And that is how a four-year-old boy gets dressed up for pictures.

I love the retro look in photos. You know the saying what’s old is new? Anyway, this was a grab shot of my daughter from today and I worked a little magic to give it that retro feel.
