I feel like a broken record, but it has been a long time since my last post. After you read this, you’ll understand why. In 2009, I became pregnant with my third child. While it was quite a surprise for us, it was also a blessing as we never expected it. I continued photographing many lovely families up until the beginning of January 2010. Fast forward to February and 10 days after my 40th birthday, I gave birth to my son. (He was born on the last day of the Year of the Ox. I wonder though if he’ll display the characteristics of the Tiger.) Fortunately, my parents timed their visit from the mainland just right because one week later, I had to have emergency surgery to remove my gallbladder. I’m told this is not unusual after a pregnancy. Who knew?!? In any event, I am taking time off until April to recover from all of the excitement. The good news is that I did manage to get some shots done of my little man. Here’s one which makes me smile without fail:
